Have you set up a 504 plan for her? if you're in the US, and she has a qualifying medical condition, you can speak with the district resources people and get a 504. It takes over when the allowed medical absence limit is reached.

If you haven't filled them in on a chronic medical condition, and you are not providing Dr's notes for each absence, yeah, they will get on you.

Get them in the loop with her condition, and every time that she misses, send her with a doctor's note.

Have you given them a doctor's note explaining the situation? If they are still harassing you even though they are aware it's a medical situation and she's still doing all her work... I'd either talk to a lawyer about my options... or home school.

school is complaning because she is sick and missing so much which cant be helped i dont ssee when she is sick and vomiting alot at school how they think she can concentrate. they tell me to force her to go to school when she is sickk that is not right to me we are so stressed out haveing to deal with the sickness itself then we have the school on our backs complaing even though she makes up any work she has missed while being sick they still jump on us she has chronic irritable bowle syndrome which is harder on a child than a adult lost and dont know what to do anymore

What kind of sick and how old? Do you WANT them to go to school sick... or are they missing too much school due to illness and the school is complaining?

Not sure how to respond without any info....
