Hi everyone. Really new at this. One of my three daughters is really struggling socially and emotionally right now. It has me seriously on the fence about home schooling her. Many things are holding me back like can I really give her quality education here at home, can I juggle that plus my job, am I doing her a disservice pulling her out of public school by "sheltering" her and not allowing her the chance to try and cope. Any thoughts out there?

I would try it, provided your daughter is motivated. The vast majority of homeschoolers have very positive experiences. There are lots of resources available, it shouldn't be a huge amount of work for you. At a middle school age your daughter should be able to work pretty independently. Homeschooling events and social groups can offer plenty of social interaction without all of the drama of middle school. I would do it with the plan to go back to school if it doesn't work rather than waste a lot of time debating. Definitely connect with other homeschooling families though.
