You may want to wait until your child is older. It might seem like a breeze right now when you've got an adorable little baby but when you're chasing a toddler who's figured out how to run and trying to take care of a new baby you might feel differently.
My opinion is that it's good to give yourself a chance to sort of 'grow in' to the first child, learn how you want to handle him/her and just deal with the one. Plus having a kid a few years apart gives you more time with them, you know, one in school so you have time with the younger one.
Plus you can do more for one financially than two. You can put one in lots of different programs and give them a lot more attention. One kid is portable and people don't mind babysitting just one child for you. Plus you don't just deal with a child but you'll have to deal with the squabbling and interactions of two of them. It seems easier to have one at least for a while. That's just me...
