I have a teenage daughter that is making her own rules. I've taken steps to get councelling and first session today. I don't believe she will show up. I'm afraid for her well being, future and afraid of who she's associating wi. Older boys, drinking, may be some drug involvement but not sure. She recently had her phone suspended but has since changed her number and deactivated it. Long story short it was my fault for giving in and giving her money. The last week has been hell....lying, defiance, disrespect. Any tips short of me changing locks on home and allowing access only when I'm home? Any tips ? I'd truly be great full to help me turn a kid around who gets everything she wants....but not anymore!

Hi. I was your daughter at a young age...you are the mom be strict but make sure you are right first. Remember we all did this to some extent and if she is a minor and it is so bad you need to involve cops or soc services. If she over 18 cut her off at this point and make her grow up or get a restraining order if she breaking in. I know it seems harsh but we as parents need to take control and tell this generation enough.
