Hi Mukta, Has your daughter been seeing a speech therapist? My son was born with a cleft palate and had to see a speech therapist before he had surgery to correct it. The service is completely free. I went through Child development services. There should be one in your community where you live. Your child's doctor should be able to recommend someone or you can try through your local town hall or city hall. The speech therapist will be able to set up an evaluation to see where your daughter is currently at and give you recommendations and "homework" as to how to get her caught up and keep her on track with her speech. On a personal note, I used and continue to use flash cards and books. Reading to your daughter and using flash cards is the best way for her to learn and understand new words. You can pick up flash cards at the dollar store-they have objects, colors, shapes, etc. It is extremely helpful. Or you can just make flash cards yourself by printing out photos or drawing pictures and grouping them together.
