I have recently noticed my 10 year old son is starting to have abit of a sweaty odour by the end of the day.
I have read a few comments about when to start using deodorant but should I go for spray or roll-on
Any comments please

Just be honest with him. My 10 year old daughter is currently going through the same phase. A little BO but not all that bad. We discussed the changes her body is soon to be going through and what it is currently going through. It may have taken 30 minutes but she seemed a little excited about picking her favorite scent from the many options that deodorants come in. I had her pick from the roll-ons since the sprays tend to leave a dust cloud in the air that can irritate the lungs if you breathe it in not to mention the unpleasant taste if it gets into your mouth!

Many schools here ban spray deodorants for safety reasons. Not sure about where you live. I'd go with roll on.

I would start with roll so he doesn't try to spray the deodorant all over thinking of it as more like cologne. Also, dont embarass him when giving it to him by saying he smells as this can ruin his self esteem. Just give it to him and say you of age now when you need to begin wearing this everyday to make sure you dont oversweat.
