I got a phone call from the school counselor that there's been a bathroom situation at school. My daughter got into a fight w/ a bunch of other 7th grade girls and they started throwing water at each other and that my child has made another kid very upset. The phone call said I need to have a meeting w/ the counselor next Tuesday about fighting w/ other children. I don't even remember 12 & 13 year old girls being so horrible to each other when I was a teenager!

Well, who instigated the fight? Truly, I'm with the teacher. If there have been multiple incidents, with the same children involved, something needs to be done at the parental level to get these kids back on track.

If your daughter has been involved in these, enough for her to have been added to the list of people needing action, then I would suggest that perhaps some extra investigation is needed to find out the root of the problem, and why she feels that she needs to be involved.

She is in counseling. The teacher said its the last straw, and it needs to stop now. The 7th graders, 6th graders, and 5th graders at her school are just horrible!

Has your daughter been in counselling yet? And is she in regular counselling? She's the one who is depressed and suicidal, right?

You must have been in a bubble. Bathroom fights were, and are still common. Good luck. Hopefully your kid didn't instigate, just participated...less punishment!
