Natural Infant Hygiene? Elimination Communication? Does anyone out there subscribe to and practice this? I'm getting ready to give it a go and wanted to find support from other moms like me. My daughter will be 6 months old on 4/6.

In homeschooling circles they have done this for all the time 15 years we were in this circle. Also native villages China etc practise this method.Wish i'd known.Would have stopped an overzealous grandma making my son constipated and my daughter suffering nappy rash so I had to convert to disposables.which I hated enviromentally.Watch the signals after a feed or drink and roughly 20 mins later or dependant on child baby poops or wees.I wishIi knew back then about this method.Watch when you are chatting to other mum's you may miss the signals and if Mum is sick she may want to resort to a nappy as she again may miss signals and deserves to get well need a little time off.A several girlfriends did this and said it was so easy as there may be a few misses but child is used to outside or being held over toilet.Being stuck in a building amy be a challenge as babies are quick to go and don't wait for the toilet so take a nappy you can rinse or disposables for accident mopping up I guess or baby plastic nappy bag and baby wipes.I wish you luck and hope this helps. Will be advising my daughter and son this is a better method and hopefully they will remember their friends little brothers and sisters growing up.Natural is better. Both my kids hated wet dirty nappies.Good luck and ignore those who try to talk you out of it.start a trend .great idea!
