Have you thought about cloth diapers? They really are WAY more absorbent. i use them with my LO and we've only had leaking 1 or 2 times ever. If you're only wanting them for night time, you would only have to get a few (maybe 7 for a week's worth) and although they're pricey up front, you save a lot of money long term. Not to mention they're way better than the old school cloth diapers our moms used! No pins, no wierd wrapping. You can check out the ones I use at-

layer the mattress with a towel, then a bed sheet, then another towel and then another bed sheet, try the bigger size, make sure you have it as snug as you can get and give it a whirl. if it leaks, rip of the sheed and towel and you are ready to try something different the next night.

changing sheets a billion times a day or in the middle of the night makes me batty, when I had the same issue, i layered up the bed so it was nice and quick.

thx everyone, although my son still fits just perfectly in a size 3 i did try the fisherprice size 4 and they leaked! i live close by to a costco so i will try them the only thing i hate is that they come in such a huge pack if they dont work im gonna be stuck with them just like all the others i wish they made smaller packs.... and i cant give him only 4oz that isnt enough milk for him he needs his 8oz! :) also im scared if i take a bigger size it will leak even more cause they are wayyyyy to big, he weighs 20lbs

i use one size up in diapers for nighttime. I use size 4 pampers during the day, and size 5 fisher price overnights.

You might just need a size up at night.

Krystel, I don't know if you have already tried this or not, but maybe do a test and drop your son's liguid intake to 4oz before bed and see if the same thing happens.

I had this problem with one of my boys. I found Kirkland diapers from Costco to work the best. He was at the top end for weight of a size 4 at the time and I moved him up to a size 5 which helps add absorbency (you might want to do that even just for night). I'm not sure where you live but if Kirkland diapers are not available, I have seen reports that show Luvs diapers to be among the most absorbent (we don't have them in Canada). Both the brands you mentioned really leaked bad for me. I know the frustration. Hopefully that will help and you won't have to keep washing sheets every morning :)

when i had this problem the only diaper that worked was pampers cruisers. i went up one size during the night and just made sure they were done up good and snug - i haven't had any leaks since (it's been 10 months since i've switched)
