Did anyone have trouble with baby foods?

Thank you!! I have tried giving him yogurt and he loves it. He still tends for the bottle but i'm not too worried now. I spoke with the dr again and said all babies are different and some just naturally wont start eating food til their teeth come in. So hopefully lil man does well when that happens =]

Dairy, soy products, meat and chickpeas are good sources of protein. My daughter has yogurt, beans, meat, and cheese. I've tried to give her eggs all different ways, but she just doesn't like them. Humus is a good protein and she loves it. I offer it to her on its own or with a bit of pita bread.

Eggs and meat are great for protien, but if you have anyone in the family allergic to eggs, dont introduce them yet. But i was advised by my dr to start them at 6 months as they are great protien and we have no allergies in the family.

Breast milk/formula should be the main source of his nutrition until age one. So, it is totally normal for him to only want small amounts of solids if he is receiving enough milk. Remember, food for fun until they're one! The amounts can vary daily so try not to get hung up on how much he's eating just yet. My son is 8.5 months old now and he eats very little "baby food". He still nurses quite frequently and continues growing at a steady rate. If your son's growth patterns haven't changed he is getting enough. Good luck to you and your son!
The amount of solids will link to the amount of formula/breast milk he is consuming. My little guy various from day to day as to how much solids he takes in. Protein, meat or egg, is still too soon for his age. Try newer non-allergenic foods first or mixing combo. For example I started adding pear to my guy's breakfast cereal. I have done avacado as a "second" course which he loves. It has great nutritional value.
