So, my family and I were recently left with nowhere to go and no access to all of our things, including my 14 m/o twins highchairs. We've managed to get a roof over our head and pretty much everything but this we've managed to find a replacement for but we're trying to get money together for a new place (It's become a matter of highchairs vs living in a car unfortunately) and my boys are too independent to let me feed them like I did when they were little.
They turn away from the spoon and they'll ignore food that I lay down on a blanket for them. I'm just not sure what to do because they're acting awfully hungry but they know for a fact now that food is supposed to be given to them when they're in their highchairs and that mommy has no business spoon feeding them like little babies.
I understand it's a situation that (I hope) few of you have dealt with before but anyone that has, could you give me some tips?
