Digital Pregnancy test kit Or Stick? Which is really better?

[deleted account] ( 10 moms have responded )

I'm trying to conceive and Want to know which kit would be better,
Any personal advice from ladies that have used a digital kit, I'm hoping to get a straight answer fast and a very reliable 1, I'm testing 3 weeks after expected conception as per the usual time frame, THanks

Regular shows results sooner, you can see a faint line and a positive is positive regardless of how dark the result window shows. Where digital won't read early or light results. So regular will show results sooner than digital

I've honestly used dollar store pregnancy tests with both of my pregnancy's and they've worked just as well as like a $9.99 one from somewhere else. Best of luck to you in conceiving! ;)

i have bought all mine from the dollar tree..they are very accurate and work great. they are the same ones that the county workers use too lol.( i had to see them to get confirmation before i went to see an actual dr)

honestly -- if you google it there is a review from 2 moms who did reviews on them all and the ones that came up most accurate, quicker, etc were the ones from the dollar store

I have used all kinds of digital and sticks and usually they never worked. It turned out I was pregnant and everything came back negative!
I would suggest using your body temperature and an ovulation kit. But really trying hard every month is the key, I think. We tried making love every day, every two days, every day and a half, only between 11 and 17 days, you name it. Finally we succedded! Good luck.

Thankyou For Your advice ladies, This is my 2nd And I Knew within the first 4 weeks i was pregnant I tried for 7months,I have quiet a long Cycle and Have to wait atleast 60days to test Its such an agonizing wait and Am hoping for the best :) I Used The Strips to confirm my last pregnancy, I just wondered How accurate the Digital tests vs The Strip would be as they are expensive i wanted to make sure If i were to purchase I wouldn't be getting false negatives or positives, So as most of you advised I have gotten a Bulk Lot Of Strips Including Ovulation and Body temp Kit :) I may still just get a Clearbue Digital Test To see if it can be accurate, Have any of you ladies had any experience with them? Thankyou so much ladies.

I prefer the digital test, simply because I know there is no way I can misread it!

I think if you`re anticipating doing a lot of tests because you`re TTC, you`d be better off buying the sticks. If they come back positive, then by a digital to confirm. You could spend a lot of money on the digital ones otherwise.

First response never failed me. It is not digital, and was very accurate. The digital ones tend to be a bit pricy IMO.
