First of all I should say, my husband and I are taking my son to a "behavior psychology" appointment to check for autism. I would like some suggestions on what to do for discipline. We have tried (I feel like) everything. When we put him in the corner he slams his head. When we put him in a chair he just gets up and throws things we put him in his room he breaks anything he can. We spank him and he fights back. We can't sit down and talk to him like normal. He doesn't understand a lot of what we say. He's almost four years old and he doesn't talk very much at all. He can say a lot of words compared to when we first got him. (Yes, technically he's my step son) He couldn't say but 5 words??? and he was 2. We now have custody and I just don't know what to do! Does anyone have any suggestions?
