Disrespect, Back talking, and Lying Eleven year old

One night is not going to cut it, she's getting it back before she's even had a chance to miss it. If you're only taking away music, that's easily substituted by something else, especially for such a short length of time.
Excluding her from fun things...family activities, special events with friends, what are you referring to? When you exclude her from something fun, what is she doing instead?
On the rare occasion that I've had to ground my daughter, she looses her ipod and is only allowed to use the laptop for school work (which she always has to use in plain view). She can't have her phone, except when we're separated and I disable the internet. She is allowed to read and visit with me, if I'm not watching TV...and if she sincerely wants to chat, I'm happy to shut the TV off. She also gets extra chores.
I think you need to grab the bull by the horns before you get gored.
