Gross Wasi, will you go away and take all of your perverse suggestions with you? My teens are often cranky in the morning and it has nothing to do with sex. Teen by nature have a different circadian rhythm than young children and adults. they desire to stay up late and sleep in the morning. My school district even did a trial of junior high kids starting school later in the day. The kids liked it but the parents did not. I give my cranky teen room in the AM, don't make conversation and let them get the day rolling on their own time.

I'm sorry, Wasi, how many teenagers have you raised again? It absolutely could be linked to tiredness if it is the same time each day.

It's probably just that she is a bit tired. If she is going through puberty right now, she is most likely doing some growing, and this can make her more tired and needing more sleep. If she's generally okay the rest of the time, I'd say she is cranky because she is tired.
