my 2 year old niece is addicted to her ''kiki" can it affect the way her teeth come in?

yes i know... and she does. im asking is it like sucking your thumb where the front teeth to push outward

I asked my dentist about this a couple weeks ago, he says as long as you are using the orthodontic ones, NO. He said that finger sucking or thumb sucking however can because it actually can change the shape of the jaw.
