Being mommy of 2 young kids, sometimes i find myself guilty of yelling at, or not behaving so nicely with kids. The harsh behavior of the self stays with me for very long time. Would love to hear your stories, how you manage Kids when they just don't listen to you.

Hope you will get my book, Is That Me Yelling?, when it comes out in May. There is the first chapter available free on my web site at http://www.nurserona.com/is-that-me-yell... Having the intention of yelling less is the first step. They you can notice the things that trigger you, learn to take a few deep breaths to calm yourself, and make a plan. My book also has many ideas for other forms of discipline. Good luck, and be kind to yourself.

My girls are 3 and 4. I just had a come to Jesus with myself and put myself in check. I read something on facebook of a story of a dad who one time didn't yell and something cute was said by the child. I then realized, I bet I miss out on so many great opportunities. While doing great not yelling, I found myself pregnant and within weeks had a miscarriage. I now feel guilty as ever about yelling. I'm taking this as an opportunity to change my behavior and hope to have another safe pregnancy down the road.
