As parents, we need to start familiarizing ourselves with what we are using on our little ones. We need to know what types of chemicals are in our baby products. Did you know that the baby shampoo's you are currently using on your little one's head contains Formaldehyde? Formaldehyde has been used as embalming agent to preserve our bodies when we die. Do we really want to feel like we are embalming our children? Even though, it has been suggested that the Formaldehyde isn't being dumped into the shampoo, it is being released over a period of time when some of the other chemicals begin to break down. Formaldehyde can irritate the skin causing a rash develop. It has been linked to causing cancer. Formaldehyde is all around us. It can be found in cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes from the tailpipe of vehicles and many other things. We can't be certain to rid everything that contains Formaldehyde but we sure can limit it greatly by switching where we shop and invest in safer, healthier products that are free of any toxins for our children and ourselves. We need to make our homes a safer place for our kids. As a mother of 2 boys, I'm in the process of converting my home to much safer, healthier products for our family. It scares me to think that I've been using these type of products containing chemicals such as Formaldehyde all this time. I don't want to expose my boys any longer. If you would like to know how I'm accomplishing this and where I'm shopping at for the safer products, please email me at J.Pasheek37@gmail.com.
