I'm sitting here after putting my 2 kids to bed thinking. I just realized how much I do in a day. Its all day everyday.

It starts with getting the kids up, change diapers, change clothes, get breakfast ready for 2, get drinks, feed 2, feed cats and dogs, give water to cats and dogs, play, play, play, change more diapers, put kids down to nap, which includes; getting bottles, diaper change, change clothes, put them down. Get a drink for myself and eat something. Then do dishes, load dishwasher unload dishwasher, then do laundry, vacuum the house, steam the floors, get laundry, fold laundry which my husband hates to do and acts like I do which I don't. Then lunch; get the kids up, change diapers, change clothes, get lunch ready for 2, get drinks, feed 2, play, play, play, change more diapers, put kids down to nap.Get a drink for myself and eat something. Dad gets home from work he sits down and plays on his computer. Dinner time; get the kids up, change diapers, change clothes, get dinner ready for 2, get drinks, feed 2, play, play, play, change more diapers, put kids down to bed, which includes; getting bottles, diaper change, change clothes, put them down. Then make dinner for me and my husband, clean up after dinner, watch some TV and then go to bed. Then do it all again day after day week after week.

Is this what we all stay at home moms do?

But if you're putting them back into the same pj's and same outfits all day long... why? I totally get changing them in the morning and at bedtime, but during the day (unless they get filthy)... That I don't get.

And it's totally your right to do things how you want. I'm not trying to change your mind... just trying to make a suggestion that would make things a bit easier. ;)

I only have Ruby and she will be 2 next month. We don't have a dish washer so everything has to be done by hand, she doesn't drink from a bottle or need diaper changes anymore, so those are cut out. I also don't change her clothes that often.

I wake up, feed Ruby whatever she wants to eat, get myself something to eat, take hubby to work, go to grandma's take their dog out, get home make lunch for 2, get Ruby ready for nap by noon, take a nap myself or shower/clean (depending on the day) clean-do dishes (20 minutes), vacuum (30 minutes), wash windows (10 minutes), mow the lawn (1.5 hours), clean the kitchen floor (20 minutes), wax the kitchen floor (20 minutes), take wash downstairs to get laundered (15 minutes), take laundry outside to dry (30-45 minutes to an hour), anything else that needs cleaned (10-20 minutes), watch some cartoons with Ruby, sing songs, go pick up hubby from work, cook dinner for 3, play play play, go on 2 mile walk with Ruby, play outside with Ruby, get the mail, pay the bills, cook second dinner for 2, Have Ruby take a shower or bath (her choice), watch a movie (2 hours at most), Ruby's bedtime, and then 30 minutes later we go to bed and I do the same thing the next morning.

I totally get that and appreciate your comments. I guess I just thought nap times is like bed time so I change them into sleep clothes. Plus the mess Anthony makes he has to go into PJs.
But thank you

But sometimes he messes his PJs and I change those with fresh ones, but usually I take off the PJs put on their outfits. At nap time I put back on the same PJs and then when they wake up I put back on the same outfits. I have to change Anthony because he will take off all his clothes and mess in his crib. I have to put his PJs on backwards with the zipper in the back so he cant get out of it. lol

You'd cut out a lot of your work if you didn't change their clothes before and after nap. ;)

Oh ya forgot walk to the park before lunch nap and baths before bed. When I said change clothes I meant sleep cloths to day cloths then back to sleep cloths.
