I have a 5 month old baby girl. My ex moved to Guam for the military before Christmas and my daughter and I stayed behind while he was getting things together for us to move. We hadnt been seeing eye to eye recently and he threatened to take her away. He says because hes in the military and I dont work, he'll be able to take her. I only stopped working right before she was born because he told me he would handle everything and that i could stay and take care of our baby. But my whole pregnancy and for my daughters whole life he hasnt provided a dime! My bills were constantly late, half paid, plus he never gave me enough to cover what I need for our daughter. I was able to provide her with everything she needs and more, without his help. I could go on and on about why he is unfit to raise a child on his own. We tried working out visiting times, but he was being unreasonable and wanted her for 4-6 months. I believe this is too long for an infant to be away from her home and mother that she is already accustomed to, and I really dont want her flip flopping between countries, at least not this young I hope i can get positive feedback with other mothers who went thru the same thing. Thanks!
