I am a midwife, it will not effect your conceiving or your carrying the pregnancy,It may cause slight problems when pushing . Sometimes the scar tissue becomes very ridgid and then you would tear along side it. Things that can help are, doing warm caster oil packs on the scar tissue to help it not get firm. If you havent practiced perineal massage before birth, check it out . How to do it, how it can help in the pushing stage. Also consider pushing in a zero gravity position next time, Hands and knees works well as does side lying. good luck .

i had a miscarriage that tore my whole insides up...was told under no circumstances would i ever have children again (scar tissue, blocked tubes, etc...) anyway, long story short, about 5 years after the miscarriage at 40, i got pregnant again (what a shock!)...so...while it may make things more complicated, it is most likely not impossible and that decision would be yours to make...
