Ok, so every time my son takes a nap or wakes up in the morning his face stinks. Like he has really really bad breath. ( no teeth ) He drool smells so bad and that he gets every where. I don't want ppl to think that I don't clean him. I scrubbed him down in the bath tub and ten min later he stunk again. I don't know what to do about this. Once his drool gets every where he stinks all day. Like rotten baby. Any one else have a lil stinker?

My son had this when he was a baby. He is now 8 years old and at times he still drools. idk what it is but drooling at 8? It still smells too. He brushes his teeth day and night but in the morning after brushing, his breath smells foul again an hour later. He even uses mouthwash that claims to keep breath smelling fresh for 12 hours but he might get a good 2 hours sometimes. Sometimes it smells like road kill.

my daughter used to have that smell if she drank milk before sleeping. so i started to give alittle water sometimes. it helped.

sometimes bad breath is a sign of a soar throat. I can remember when my son was about two and i noticed a bed smell but I found that he had nerf ball chunk stuck up his nose!! You just never know!!!

Go to your docs office and have him or her check his nose to make sure he didnt stick anything in there. My oldest did that with a tissue and he had an infection from it. The doc removed it put him on antibiotics for the infection and it cleared right up.

Try buy a baby toothbrush with some baby toothpaste and rub his gums. My sis works in a dental office and has come across this. Its the new teeth coming and just get ur son use to brushing.

Have you tried cleaning his gums? My boys had bad breath that was caused by blood as they were cutting their teeth! also if u dampen a flannel and put it the fridge it soothes the gums as well.

I would definitely talk to your pediatrican. None of my girls had this problem except for bad breath after they got their teeth in. Good luck!
