does any1 have experience with serequel for treatment of bipolar in teens? what i want to know what are the doses eg what is a high dose or low dose?

Both Seroquel and Seroquel XR can be used along to treat the manic phase of bipolar disorder in adults, or as an additional drug to be combined with lithium or divalproex, says AstraZeneca. The recommended dosage range for either form of the drug is 400 to 800 mg per day for adults. Seroquel is also approved for use during the manic phase of bipolar disorder in children and teens between the ages of 10 and 17 years, with a desired dosage range of 400 to 600 mg daily.
