My little girl is 6 and has stumped 7 Geneticists and many other Pediatric Specialists. She is small in stature and weighs only 40 lbs. She is developmentally delayed and I believe autism as well. She started having mild seizures a few years ago and had her first Grand Mal October 2012. She suffers from ADHD and OCD as well. Since she developed seizures and started taking medication her behavior has regressed as well as her acquired skills. We have tried Keppra which did not stop the seizures and seemed to make her "fits" worse. She is currently taking Topamax and Clomipramine which has turned her into crazed child! Does this story sound familiar to anyone? If so, any thoughts on a diagnosis and possible remedy for the seizures and the awful side affects of these horrible medicines?
