My son had them on both eyelids fore head , nose and lip. He looked pretty pathetic when he was born. They were so dark, almost a purple. Now at three, the ones on the eyelids are gone and the other ones are barely noticeable. When he cries they come out. Don't worry about it they will fade

These birthmarks are harmless and often barely noticeable. An angel’s kiss usually fades by the time a child is two; a stork bite may never completely disappear, but it’s usually light or hidden by hair. Occasionally the only time these birthmarks are noticipable is when the child cries or strains.

An angel’s kiss that doesn’t fade may be lightened with laser therapy.

My son has it on both eye lids. I hope it goes away. But it gets very bright when he cries. He is 9 weeks old. If it goes away I will let you know.

Yes it fades with time, but it will light up when they get angry or are crying. But otherwise you can barely see it.

My youngest girl did on both eyelids at birth. She's 4 1/2 months now and they have mostly faded. She has a bit of a strawberry mark underneath the hairline at the base of her neck too and that has faded a little but is still quite visible if you look for it.

My son has one on his forhead quite raised and also one on his ribs (exactly the same spot as mine before mine faded completely when i was about 13) I Hope the one on his forhead goes, if not its right on his hairline so his hair should cover it. He is just over 5 months old.

Mine has one on her eyelid and is just 3 months and it has faded a lot already. It is still a bit noticeable but really can only tell if she cries hard or is hot.

My son had them on both eyelids and in a ring around his head. It faded but is still visible. I think it's barely noticeable unless you're really looking for it.

My son had one on his back and yes, they do fade as they get older. I don't know about eyelids, but Zachs was pretty dark when he was little. He is 11 now and it has faded a lot.

one of my twins has one on her left eyelid as well, she is three months and it's starting to fade. however, seeing as though i have identical twins... i'm actually hoping it lasts quite a while! :)

Mostly they go away by the time they turn 2 or 3. My daughter had one (on her leg though) but it was really raised up at first. Before she turned 2 it was almost all gone and now you can only see it if you know right where it is and are looking for it :-) If by chance, it stays red longer than that, you be sure to tell her how special she is because God didn't kiss everyone sooo hard that it stayed :-) So he must love her EXTRA

My son has one on his forehead and he is 8 months old and it is still there it has lightened up some but still very noticable. When he was born the doctor said it would be gone within a few months but it's not. I hope it goes away soon, I don't want him to get teased about it either. My friends daughter had one on her eyelid and it went away, not sure at what age though, she is now 8. I had one on my chest when i was a kid that didn't go away till i was about 5 and i have one on the side of my stomach that has never gone away. I think most of them wind up fading, I hope! Best wishes!

My daughter just turned 6 months and has one the size of my thumb-tip on her forehead which is still there, but the little one she had on the tip of her nose when she was born is gone. I've been wondering the same as you because I was always told it would fade by 6 months.

Not on her eyelid but on her forehead. It seemed to fade but I have always been able to tell if she's sick or upset because it comes out and my baby is now 20 years old.

Thanks, Hers is on her left eye and a little bit under and it is super red! She will be 2 months this weekend. We just hope it will go aways so she doesn't get picked on when she gets older or feels insecure.

My son's left eyelid and surrounding area was REALLY red when he was born. Ever since he was 1 year old, though, the only time it shows up is when he cries hard.

My daughter did. She is 6 now and it is only visible when she cries- it just "pinks up" then. Otherwise it is not visible.
