My first pregnancy I had triplets. I am expecting again but this time just one! Some of my tricks were to have sex sort of frequently (every other day) and to do it a few days before ovulation (5 days before) And of course no birth control, condoms, lubricant, the usual stuff! Don't use tobacco, and drink alcohol. And eat foods that increase fertility like chicken, eggs, and anything organic!

we had 2 boys first and the odds were against us to have a girl but we stuck to the early ovulation plan and got the girl! both of my cousins did the same thing and we are all proud parents of little girls! there are no guarantees but they say this is the best over the counter way to do it...besides, what's the worst that can happen? my boys rock!!!

I have 3 boys and am pregnant with a little girl. I can tell you that my husband and I did our research and what we did was not fun for me. We read that the male sperm are faster swimmers but die off sooner than the female. We read for me to not orgasm and for your husband to not go in deep. LOL! I don't know if that;s what gave us a girl, but we sure do laugh about it. LOL! It's worth a shot for you.

my grandfather, who was a farmer, said that if you want a boy, have relations as close to your ovulation as possible, if you want a girl have relations from day 10 (days after period starts) to day 12. and also don't eat anything salty, or fish/high protein stuff while your trying if you want a girl. lots of juice, carb, fruits.

Well of course the only fool proof way is to have your embryos spun which is expensive and is still not 100%. There has been research that suggests that boys (sperm) swim faster but die quicker and girls swim slower but live longer....If you have sex before you ovulate the boys will rush in but die before you ovulate leaving you with only girls to fertalize the egg, just the opposite with boys??? I do have to say that with our first I didn't know to start trying before ovulation so we only tried after I ovulated (I get a pain in my ovary so I know when I ovulate) We ended up with a son. When we started planning for our second I was scarred it wouldn't be as easy to concieve so we started trying a few days before I ovulated and then I got really sick so we stopped trying one day before I ovulated and we got a gir.??? Don't know if it is coincidence or not but research tends to back this theory up.
By the way girls are slower because they contain more DNA which is heavier....it slows them down???
