Does anyone know if heterotopia's can cause a neurological movement disorder like tics?

My 9 year old has a subependymal heterotopia and has developed tics/movements in her face, neck, arm, back and leg. She has also had a tremor in her arms/hands for 3 years and sometimes describes that she feels shaky all over. The EEGs ruled out seizure activity but it does not make sense??
