There are two kinds jogging strollers: the one with swivel front wheel and the other is fixed front wheel. Fixed is for avid jogger which main purpose s for exercise only, while swivel wheel is more flexible as it can be used for jogging and city-walk. In case you want to find out further description, detail, and more objective reviews, you can click on this link: http://jogging-stroller-reviews.net/
Fyi, a baby should at least have a stable neck control before s/he can be placed on a jogging for a ride. stroller

has to be light, with pockets to put keys, water etc, have good wheels and easy to manouvre...thats about it. I have 2...one for the car and one for our walks and runs. oh yeh and a wide hood is handy too for shading from sun and wind.

There's no need to get an expensive one I can tell you that. Most have the same features, some are more expensive only because of the name. They are all huge, and if you have a car on the smaller side, you will need to take off the wheel(s) for most of them to fit in your trunk. I bought mine because of the swivel wheel, but we acually keep it locked now, because the ride just isnt as smooth when the wheels swivel. It's a nice option for the mall and such, but we don't take ours there, it's basically only for walks. Looking back now, I wish I had gotten the jeep one with the play steering wheel because I think my daughter would have loved that

Hi Amanda. My husband bought me a jogging stroller (http://www.amazon.com/Torker-Child-Strol...) for Valentine's day and I can tell you what features are helpful to me. It's light and wheels detach easily to fold up and put in my trunk (it barely fits!) . The wheels are made of real bike tires so the ride is very smoothe. The back lies down so when my little one is asleep he's not bent over. There is a hand brake that locks and a foot brake locks too. It also comes with a rain cover. Those are the good things. I wish my stroller had better sun and wind protection over the front (it only comes down half way). I have to use a blanket and clothes pins instead. I also wish it had a place to put my phone, keys and water bottle that was easily accessible.  Happy stroller hunting!

I have the BOB Revolution that I LOVE!  We use it for running, and I'm 5"4" and my husband is 6'5" and it is great for both of us.  We also hike, and have taken it on hikes, though only on fire roads (unpaved, but nice and smooth dirt roads).  I chose the BOB because I heard over and over from people who kept having to replace cheaper jogging strollers.  One thing:  you have to check which car seats are compatible with the stroller.  I wanted the Chico car seat because it had the safest rating, and ended up having to get the Graco instead because the Chico doesn't work with the infant car seat adapter on the BOB (an essential for the first 6 months).

I bought one when we were preggers, was thrilled to death about it until it didn't fit in my trunk the front tire deflated and its too long for some elevators!

My jogger was the jeep one from 06. Hate it!

The best thing I think is out there now is that frame that fits all car seats.

Hi - I have a BOB Revolution single stroller that I use when I run with my son. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. The safety features are great and it has great shocks which I think are important because my son doesn't get jolted by the bumps in the road. I bought it from a well-known seller on Ebay and ended up getting a really good deal. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
