Does my 4 year old have ADHD?

I have a 4 year old daughter who I love more than anything in the world but I'm scared that she may have ADHD... She runs around constantly and hardly ever stops going. She "howls" and random moments and when we're in a vehicle she's either fighting to get out of her booster seat or singing at the top of her lungs. I love her singing but not when it's that loud. She hates hearing the word "no" and me and her dad are constantly telling her "no", "stop that" and other things along those lines. I wanted to put her in school this year but she says she don't want and I really don't think she's ready. I know that next year she has to go but I really don't want to put her on medications and I'm scared that's what may happen. She hardly sleeps. We;ve been trying to get her sleeping at night but she won't. She'll sleep for 2 or 3 hours and is up again bouncing of the walls like she had a full night's sleep. She sleeps a little bit better during the day (maybe 5 or 6 hours on average). She has to have all eyes on her. If we don't acknowledge that we heard what she said she will scream at us until we say "ok" or "I heard you." The only time she sits still for more than 5 mins is if she's watching Yo Gabba Gabba and she's watched it so much that that's not even working anymore. Does anybody have any suggestions as to if this is ADHD and if so, is there an alternative to medication? And what about her sleeping? Does she need to be on sleeping pills? Her cousin does have ADHD and sleeping problems and has to take ADHD medication plus pills to help him sleep. I'm at my wit's end. Please help!!!

Have you looked at her diet? I would be looking at what triggers her first. It could be anything from certain colour and flavours to gluten or even lactose.

Have you seen a doctor? I would be getting a professional opinion first and maybe even a referral to a dietician before jumping to the conclusion it's ADHD.
