Does other mothers think,it should be us(meaning the mothers have more rights with our children an make better choices

I have a question,my husband always says oh its up to you...your the mother.. I stay home with our14 month old,an he works a lot of hours but home during the day leaves at home at1am so I know men who work more but...he never helps with anything doesn't parent he hasn't change a diaper in months an 2 maybe 3 all this time.. he doesn't even know her favorite food.he never feeds her..or anything an complains about the milk how much I give her..(money) my father pays for it..mostly ..hes mean an yells at her when hes tired ect... well my daughter doesnt want to go to him she doesn't like him very much..prob afraid of him,,an he never bonded with her I told him all that(you don't do is love an spending time with her)an shows her you love her. not cuz you pay the bills..he said im tired I ....let me understand all parents that work don't parent or bond or do anything with their children an he does NOTHING around the house he says its my job he pays the funny when ppl cpme over he picks her when they leave he puts her down an lays on the couch an says im hungry EWW!!!! im not your maid..anyway whats you thoughts

Sounds like he needs a big wake up call. No it's not just up to the Mother to raise the children. It took BOTH of you to create your child and it takes BOTH of you to raise her. You are his wife, not the paid help, and he should treat you as such. A marriage is a partnership and it doesn't who works outside the home you are both responsible for the running of the home.

Well, my husband works, and i have recently started working part time. He is very active with the kids. Your husband sounds like he looks to you to be HIS mother also. Money is important, but bonding with your children is priceless.
