Does your child do this?

Hello, I have something I would like to ask other mommies.
My child, when I feed him, he is 18 months. He will spit out the food when he's thirsty, or when he doesn't like it. I understand when he doesn't like it, but I'm curious why he does this when he's thirsty. Does anyone else's children do this? I'm not concerned and I don't think it's a problem, I just want to know if anyone else's child does this!

Thanks. :)

Yep. We learned real quick to never offer a drink to a toddler who didn't have an empty mouth or whatever was in the mouth would come out all over the tray/plate/table. Didn't stop it ALL the time, but for some reason they don't have it in their brains that they can just finish the bite and THEN drink. Toddlers are odd little creatures. lol ♥

Haha! Okay. That makes me feel better. :) He spits out food before I even offer the drink!
