Tell your attorney that you would like to go for supervised visitation for him.

Since the violence was not perpetrated against the kids, he will be awarded visitation. You can mitigate this by providing enough evidence that he is a possible danger and you would like supervised visits.

If there isn't proof, he'll get visitation, unsupervised.
