I have a 3 month old daughter!! She can only fall asleep with her pacifier! I heard babies like sucking on things to help soothe them and its s natural instinct. My daughter only wants her pacifier when she naps ur sleeps at night. The bad thing is she doesn't know how to soothe herself without it. She will spit it out when ages in her deep sleep but once she wakes up and realizes urs but there she would cry. Sometimes I get up 5 or 6 tines a night to put her pacifier in and she will fall back to sleep. I do t know if I should let her cry it out and take the pacifier away or just let her continue with it??? I l is she's still young an maybe don't know how to soothe herself without it??? I just want her to be able to fall asleep without being dependent on the pacifier. My husband says she's still you g!! I don't know what to do!!! I try to let her cry it out once it she was screaming snow broke my heart so I have her pacifier back. Is she still too young to know??? I rather she has a blankie or stuff toy

She's 100% normal. CIO at 3 months has the potential to cause life long bonding issues.... So I wouldn't. I don't know what to suggest to help you get more sleep though as I had two with pacifiers til almost 2 and one that used ME as a pacifier for over 3 years (night weaned at 2 though). They all sleep great now.... and it's been YEARS. ;)
