about a month after I gave birth to my daughte my husband went and got a vasectomy. About a month after he got his vasectomy we quickly regretted it. And I know I'm going to get the question why did you get it in the first place? My last pregnancy wasn't so good my daughter ended up having complete heart block i was in and out of the hospital for months. then our daughter was born and she spent the first three years of her life in the hospital. My husband quickly got scared and had a vasectomy thinking if we ha another baby we would have the same issues as our daughter had. He really got scared and freaked out bad and did the vasectomy on impulse. After talking to the doctors and everything which was a month later that's when we quickly realized the vasectomy was a big mistake. We are now in the middle of looking for a sperm donor and we have found one was willing to give us free sperm! We can't afford fertility treatments or getting a donor from the cryo- banks because it just cost too much money. And if someone is going to help us out for free we think that's the better choice for us. Anyway where I'm getting at here is, has anyone ever gone in had a donor baby weather and it's from a Crile bank or free sperm? And how did your husband take it? I don't want my husband to feels like he's any less of a man or anything like that. I know he will love this baby like its his own, in his eyes it is his child or would be (I'm not pregnant yet not even close) but I'm just very curious to know how whoever got a donor sperm how their husbands took it?? I would just like a little insight., please help me before I go ahead and get this started which is very soon because my period is coming in then I would be ovulating

Thank you!!!

You may want to see if you can just draw sperm from your husband. A vasectomy, like a tubal ligation, only cuts off the route of delivery, it does not remove the sperm (or egg, in the case of a TL), which is why vasectomy reversals are possible.
