Downs Syndrome Testing

I am almost 42 years old and 18 weeks pregnant. I had a non invasive blood test about a month that showed low risk for downs and other genetic disorders, my nuchal translucency was also fine. I had the 16 week quad screening done 2 weeks ago and got the call that my odds of downs is 1:200. I went in today for a detailed scan last week and all looks OK!!! The only true way of knowing is an amnio and I really don't want to get this done as I am in China and was the main reason I got the non invasive blood test (Nifty) in the first place. Thoughts? Advice?

I personally never got the amnio done, even when I was a higher risk with my last pregnancy.
If you are going to keep the baby, regardless of the result then you don't need it done. If you would terminate dependent on the result then you need to really weigh up all the results.
If the first tests showed low risk, why have they all of a sudden become higher? Ask lots of questions of your doctors and see if they can give you some reason why the test results have changed.
