i love dr. brown bottles. i used them from the beginning as a preventative measure. my little girl never had problems with gas or spitting up and i truly believe it was because of these bottles. there is a little bit more effort required when cleaning them because of the extra parts. but well worth it, in my opinion. they do cost slightly more than standard bottles, but they last - i'm still using the same ones 3 years on. BUT - beware when travelling. invest in the special screw-on lids designed specifically for dr. brown bottles. because when filled, they have to be kept upright or they will spill/leak. i learnt the hard way when flying and the 2 bottles i'd taken on board spilled everywhere in the overhead bin when the plane took off! now i just use the screw caps and keep the nipples etc, in a baggie & put them on at bottle time. hope this helps :)

maybe I am crazy but I preffered the Avent because the DR browns had so many gadgets to clean and they leak so I kept having milk running out my bag but Avent the lid seals the hole so you can drop it in your bag and nothing leaks out.
I had a few of them and used them as back up but preffered the Avent it also has air flow which works great.

I started out by using every bottle under the sun and my little boy didn't like any of them. He had terrible gas and the gas drops didn't help AT ALL. So I was desperate looking through Walmart trying to find something that would work. I picked up a box of Dr. Brown's bottles and decided to try them, they are a bit expensive but hey if they worked I was all for it. He literally never had gas again, never spit up, and was never fussy. I love those bottles and I will never use any other brand, Thank you Dr. Brown!!

I started out using Dr. Brown's bottles. My daughter was extremely sensitive to gas and had to be switched to "Gentle" formula. I too found all of the pieces a bit much to clean and sterilize and put together over and over again. I switched to the Avent bottles and saw no difference better or worse in my daughter's gas. After the BPA scares, I switched to Born Free and also saw no difference better or worse. Hope that helps!

I used them when my son was first born bc he had GERD and after 4months of using just dr. browns and didnt see much difference his condition i went to the playtex drop ins. The Dr. Browns are ok but a pain in the butt to clean bc of the million pieces. I would anybody to use the drop ins over the dr. browns any day!!!
I mostly breastfeed. I have used dr browns bottles and i thought they were ok, just ok nothing great, there are lots of parts to clean. I used soothie bottles alot. I also used born free bottles and i liked them My daughter hardly ever spit up, my burp clothes are brand new lol. Hope this helps!
When my granddaughter was a newborn she & my daughter lived with me. After checking her for acid reflux & changing her formula several times, we tried the Dr. browns bottle. While they are a bit pricey....it is def. worth the peace of mind you get from not seeing your little one in constant distress......I wish these had been around back in the days when my children were just wee ones.

I used Dr Browns for my grandson Joel. & loved them!
They were expensive but worth it, when you have a baby thats colicy or just takes in a lot of air while he/shes feeding.
The cleaning of the different parts takes time, but its still worth it.

Dr. Browns bottles were the best investment I made for both my boys it reduced there gas dramatically. I loved them and keeping them clean is kind of a pain, but as long as you have a bottle cleaner and one of those small pipe cleaner things that come with it not to big of an issue. It also helps if you boil them every few days!

I used them, I honestly didn't see a difference. I used the soothie bottles as well. They are supposed to help with collic and ear aches, My son never had any of those problems, maybe because of the bottles Im sure it didnt help. They ended up being mmore of a pain because you have to get all the parts together and we didnt have a dishwasher.anyhow long story short Peter didnt prefer them over other bottles either. I would give them a try if you start haveing any ear or collic issues It would hurt.

i have used these bottles with my daughter for over a year and they are the best things invented. katie has bad colic when she was little and i tried everything from crystals to powders for it and the only thing that worked was the doctor brown bottles as they stop the baby swallowing the air in the bottle as they are sucking. such a god send, katie has slep through the night since i started using them.

I use a combination of Dr. Brown's and the Playtex Drop-Ins and I love both of them. The Dr. Brown's are great (especially with a baby with colic), but my baby didn't have colic and she loves these. The only downside are there are a lot more parts to clean, but it's worth it for her to actually drink out of the bottle.

I loved Dr. Brown it was the only ones that I used on my twins when they were infants. They do work you don't get air in the nibbles or anything they babies get enough milk out of the nipple it dno't just poor out. They are expensive in my opinion I think I paid like 13.00 for 2 bottles but they are well worth the investment
