My daughter is 7 months old & is now finding her way in the world. Yes, " Her Way!" She is so dramatic at times. Her father & I are pretty laid back & easy going. It's getting difficult around bath time. At the beginning we would wash her with a damp washcloth & then up until this point I've held her in the bath. Now that she's able to support herself I want to be able to have her in the bath alone, but I'm worried she'll throw herself back in a dramatic way. Any suggestions on a good bathing technique? The chairs don't work on her.

And just another thought, have you thought about taking her in the shower with you? Or bathing WITH her?

You are really calling your 7 month old a "drama queen"? LOL wait until she is a teen.

She is a BABY. If she is upset, there is usually a reason.

You CANNOT leave a 7 month old in a bath alone. If she can't sit properly in the baths, that's why you're there, holding her, right there with her. The screaming when she has a bath is a generally a phase some infants go through. Ask yourself why she is screaming. Maybe she is cold. Maybe she just doesn't like baths, so you make it as simple and painfree and as quick as possible. But ultimately, you can't expect it to go your way.
