Hi, my 6 year old is always writing and drawing, which is good as up till now she had done it on paper and now books, however tonight I found a drawing on her bedroom wall of a little girl and upon investigation found it to be out of blood from a cut she has on her ear, don't mind saying I am a bit freaked out, any suggestions Thank you atlanta

Well, I would discuss the fact that 1. We don’t write on walls and 2. We don’t use blood. If you have a repeat of the blood drawings I would probably address it with her pediatrician. I have a granddaughter that draws on everything (clothes, body, paper, walls, etc.) I don’t think she even realizes she does most times (she’s 12) I wouldn’t worry about it unless it becomes a habit. She may have just doodled with what she had on hand at the time. Or wiped blood from her finger on the wall and thought it looked cool and she just finished the drawing. BTW my grand daughter is actually a very talented artist and you may have a budding artist also. Who knows who those artists thinks!
