My husband is already driving for a company. I am working on my class a CDL's. My question is I have 3 babies a 4 year old 3 year old and one that almost 2. And we have gave thought to leasing our own truck. My question is can we take the kids? I've heard many different stories. Myself see it no diffent than say carnival workers. They travel all over with all their children. But of course it's looking like the trucking profession make it very hard. To try and keep the family together. I would prefer not to lease if I do not have to starting out. If anyone could head in the right direction. It would me the world to me and my family. Thanks in advance.

With the time tables a truck driver has to keep, is it wise to take the young ones on the road and have to be sitting in the truck for hours at a time to make the schedule? Children this age need the ability to have access to playing outside as much as they can, playing inside the house and movement. Being cooped up inside on a rainy day or a snowy cold dat is hard enough, but I would think being in a truck all day would be worse.
