Don't give up. Continue talking to him and encourage yourself as well. Pray more and do your best to get connected to prayer groups consisting of highly confidential people who would join you in prayer for this situation. Your son's condition might be more spiritual than physical. Encourage him to take more positive actions and good pastimes.
Please do more praying; do not worry. If you are a Christian, please do more fasting and praying. Fast and pour your heart out to God at least one day a week. Ask God to take control of your son's life and destiny. Continue to do so quietly until you see some positive changes in your son's life.

You cannot help him until he is ready to help himself. Until he makes that decision that he wants to rehabilitate, you need to make sure you don't enable his choice. You could find some support groups in the area for yourself, as it may help you to talk to others who have been through this as support for you.
