My daughter has always had dry skin, and using many products aggravates it. I ended up using a product called QV Oil in her baths, and then QV cream on her as soon as she got out.

It depends on what is causing the dry skin. If it is eczema, you will need a cream formulated for that. If it is just dry skin, a fragrance free lotion should do the trick.

My son has eczema on his thighs and upper arms. We use Aveeno eczema cream. It is about $12 at the pharmacy, but I've seen it for $9 in big box stores if you have one close by.

Try Aquaphor. You can get it at CVS, Walgreens, etc. I think the smaller bottle is only around $7.99. I bought it back when my son was like 2 months old because his face was so dry. Now with winter here I use it every time I bathe him. It's a bit thick and sticky but worth it!
