Hello everyone,

So I have been BF my 9.5 month old son since birth. He is in the process of increasing solid foods but still nurses about 5 times per day. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that my milk supply dropped by more than 50% practically over night! I had expected some drop with the increasing solids but not that fast or much. He does sleep through the night (since 5 months old) and I stopped getting up to pump during the night about 2 months ago.

My husband thinks I might be preggo since I have been trying every method in the book to increase supply without luck (fenugreek, fennel seed, oatmeal, wine, increased water, de-stressing, increased nipple stimulation throughout the day...etc). I have been having nausea, fatigue, occasional crampy feeling, change in appetite, and heartburn for the last few weeks as well. I have yet to get my first pp AF. I did take a HPT at 10 days and 5 days ago which were both negative. Could I have just tested too early? Its hard to tell without AF to give the cue of when.

Should I call my OB/GYN to see if I am pregnant even with the negative HPTs? I honestly do feel like I could be pregnant. It could also just be the return of AF.

I was going down on my breastmilk production and lactation cookies and mother;s milk were not working to boost my supply, instead healthy nursing tea by secrets of tea was the only remedy that increased my supply enough to feed my child exclusively.

Ok so found out that I am pregnant today with using 1st response tests. That solves that mystery. I guess I need to learn to listen to my hubby's intuition more often. Calling my OB today
