I have had my daughter in January 2012. She is baby #2 (I suffered neonatal loss with baby #1). My problem is that my body has forgotten that it had a beautiful clockwork menstrual schedule. I had pretty heavy bleeding after my first delivery, but then I got pregnant, so the bleeding went away. Now, after January 2012, once the usual post partum bleeding was up, I started getting my menses again. However, from the normal 33 day cycle that I had, I can now go through two periods in a month. I am sore, and tired and irritated. I tried hormone too, but as soon as the dose is tapered, bleeding resumes. My uterus is refusing to let down on the frequent periods. How can a pregnancy wonk off the normal functioning of the body like this?
