I am a 35 yr old with normal periods. Recently, my boyfriend have been talking about having a baby. We had intercourse during my fertile window and couple of day later I started having nausea, vomiting and frequent urination. Now, I was due to have my period on March 5th but I started on the 1st. This period is completely different. It's light, barely hitting the pad and the cramps are unbearable. I'm still having vomitin with each meal. Is this a normal period?

Thank you. I have also called my doctor. During my 1st pregnancy I got a cheap pregnancy test and it came out negative and week later I got an expensive test and it came out postive. By than I was already 11 weeks pregnant.

It doesn't sound like a normal period. But, there is always the possibility of having an irregular period once in a while. If you are stressing about getting pregnant that could cause irregular periods as well. However, that being said, many women have implantation bleeding when they become pregnant. Frequent urination and nausea are pretty strong signs of pregnancy, too. I would run to the dollar store and pick up a cheap pregnancy test (they do work, but are more cost efficient). If it comes back positive, get a good one if you don't trust the dollar store one. If it comes back negative, watch how you are feeling and try again after a couple of days. Best of luck!
