I don't remember my last cycle date due to irregular cycles but I took a pregnancy teat September 30 and got a clear positive on pregnancy test. Then on October 2 was having slight cramps on right side so went to ER they didultra sound and seen nothing took blood test oout was 215.9 hcg then the asked me to come back in 48 hours for more blood work went back and got 543.2 hcg level but got 8.9 progesterone level. I am a bit concerned cause that is low progesterone level. Is that an impending miscarriage? I am trying to get into an obgyn but making an appointment is obviously not very easy. Any response would be great! Thanks

I would call a few more until you find one that can see you today or tomorrow. I can understand waiting two days for a consultation appointment, but a good doctor will make time for you if you are concerned.

That said, cramps are common in early pregnancy, and progesterone levels will fluctuate to some extent, so you are probably just fine, but I would still call other doctors because it would send up a red flag for me if I called any of my doctors with a concern and they told me to wait two days to come in.

In North Dakota. I have contacted an obgyn officeyet they want me to wait aanother two days before they will do a consultation visit. I am so disturbed. I'm still having slight lower cramps. And the only thing they will tell me is oh wait two days. Not the Jews I wanted.

Where do you live? You need to get to an OBGYN as soon as possible. I don't understand why you are having trouble making an appointment. In the US, most OBGYN group practices rotate doctors so that they have "emergency openings" every weekday. You shouldn't have to wait more than a day to see an OBGYN.
