Early Signs of Autism in Infants

Hey moms, question for you all.... I have a 5 month old son who was born 6 wks early and has had 3 hospitalizations the first few months of his life from aspirating on his formula and breath holding spells. I know it is too young to diagnose autism but there are certain things he does and doesn't do that concern me. He doesn't make great eye contact and he doesn't laugh or smile when you try to play with him. He also doesn't care for toys or reaches out for any. He has trouble holding his head up as well and can't seem to place his arms in front of him for support. He has always been a cranky baby and doesn't sleep well. Are there any signs that mothers with autistic children noticed at an early age?

That sound like other delays than autism. I would actually think more on the ceraible palsy side.
