Strait razor and lighter fluid works well on glass but depending on the type of sticker you may be able to get it off with just the razor. As for the wood, what you use will have to depend on the type of paint because you don't want to strip the paint. I've used goo gone in a daycare setting and it works but you need quite a lot and it needs to sit for longer than the directions say on some types of adhesive or it won't work (it's also hard to keep it on a vertical surface). Goo gone can also be very fussy to clean off after wards. I've also used rubbing alcohol in a pinch.

Try baby wipes first, may take a few but it works on the glass if its just the sticky residue left then a little baby oil rubbed into it in circular motions should loosen it, a straight razor may scratch.Just checked in a book I have it also recommends wd~40 ( a spray oil for squeeks on bikes/ prams ect) or orange citrus cleaner( although it does not state any type)
