Try to look at a weeks at a time when looking at nutrition. Your baby may not eat all food groups at each meal, but over a few days s/he should. Babies can eat pretty much what you eat as long as it's fine enough and not especially spicy. By 1 year, my kids both were eating pretty much what my husband and I were, just chopped really fine/ mashed up.
