my 4 yrs. daughter has eczema(atopic dermatitis )can anyone suggest some thing to control it ,tried all steroid creams and many moisturizers ..

Did they tell you to avoid feeding her chocolate, eggs, strawberries, oranges? I had eczema when I was little and the doctor told my mum to avoid those things.

There is oinment that you can get from the doctor that is suppose to be good. Also in case you're not aware. It's best to be careful what soaps you use, shampoos, washing powders and fabric softeners. Some can be very irritative. It's best to use things with low or no fragrance. Sorborlene creams can be used for washing. Hope some of this is useful for you.

Have you tried Sudocrem it is given to every new mother in the UK free of charge it is used for lots of things from Eczema to nappy rash and burns.

Thanks Tina..avoiding everything..still its in worse stage ..mainly on the face..

Thanks Louise..no till now I've not tried this.doctor advised her Lipobase(thick cream)and elica a topical steroid,will try this also.Thanks
