Hello! Bless his little heart! After I had my daughter, I was diagnosed with dyshidrotic ezcema, so I know first hand how terrible it can be! :( where is his eczema located? Short warm baths about ten min. apply moisturizer (ointment) immediately after bath, cetaphil is a good cleanser... cleanser should be used sparingly, diaper area, armpits, hands and feet, cleanser do not need to be used everyday. perfume free unscented moisturizer, an ointment is THE best especially at this time of year... moisturizer doesn't actually hydrate the skin, it locks in the skins own moisture... the more oil the moisturizer has the better!! something is causing him to have an immune response, it could very well be his formula, allergy to milk/soy... doesn't hurt to try a different formula to see if your little guy gets relief, try a fragrance free detergent for sensitive skin

This is a great "all natural" approach which has seen much more success then over the counter creams and prescriptions. EO usually starts at the root of the problem, therefore are more effective.

I had eczema on either side of my nose for almost a year. It would NOT go away. I was put on hydrocortisone 1% creme and it made it worse. The only results I got were from Vaseline Intensive Care Fragrance free lotion, but a lot of the moms have concerns about the Vaseline brand, as its base is petroleum. I am not willing to dispute that. I would do research regarding the negative effects it has. It was important to put it on right out of the shower though, or the rash would stay. I stopped doing it 2 years ago, and the rash has stayed gone.
I figured the rash might have been caused by the dryness from my apartment as it had water radiated heating, which is why it stayed gone.

I have the humidifier with hot steam and I feel that it doesn't do anything therefor I dont turn it on do you think I should get the one with cold steam or just stick with the hot steam ,the only reason I dont like the one with cold steam is because sense its winter I feel it makes the room colder.
BTW are you a nurse or have eczema your self I see you have comment on previous Eczema conversations just curious.

I apply the Eucerin baby eczema therapy creme and then aquator only on the spots where he has the eczema but I am overwhelmed seeing him with all those rashes . BTW are you a nurse or have eczema your self I see you have comment on previous Eczema conversations just curious.
